Oars
Whaly boats are designed like inflatables and hence they are designed to be powered by an engine. That said, oars should always be carried in case of emergency. We have two oar options.
Economy Oars
Economy Oars which consist of light weight oars using plastic rowlocks and plastic rowlock sleeves. Available in 1.5m to 2.2m lengths for models 210 onwards.
1.5m (for model 210) – $125

Top Quality Whaly NZ Oars
Heavy duty ‘Whaly NZ Oars’ made in NZ. Good strong, dependable oars that are a pleasure to use. Available in a telescopic version where they shorten and then clip onto the inside of the hull, or as a single piece that clips onto the outside of the hull just above the safety rope. Either way, they are out of the way when not in use, but always available should the need arise to have to row back to safety. Rowlock sleeves are made out of 316 stainless. Rowlocks are made of plastic coated steel to give them strength and protection from the elements as well as providing a quiet, friction free fitting. Made for the true ‘boatie’ who recognises the value of having quality oars always available and neatly stowed when not needed. You can buy cheaper but you won’t find better.

Beachmaster Wheels
An extremely popular option is the fitting of a pair of wheels to the rear of your boat.
This makes it easy to pull your boat up the beach or up onto your trailer. In keeping with the robust style of Whaly Boats, we use top of the line Beachmaster Wheels. Solid and easy to use, you will not regret buying quality.
Fitted with 6mm stainless bolts and large stainless steel plates inside the hull.
These wheels will make life a breeze and wont let you down.
Bench Seat – Models 310 onwards
A great optional extra giving you a heap of dry storage and comfortable seating.
This seat can be slotted in various positions within the boat to suit your layout and weight distribution.

Steering Console – Models 310 onwards
Models 310 and larger have the option of a centre consul layout.
The optional consul provides the structure to place your steering and controls (not included) as well as providing dry storage.

Outboards
We do not deal directly with outboards as that is a specialist field in itself, however we do have a relationship with one of the best dealers in the Bay. This means that you can choose the brand of outboard that you prefer as well as ensuring quality after sales service. We are happy to work directly with this dealer on your behalf to ensure a simple and trouble free installation.
